New in Town: Walmart is Open!
Eastvale’s first-ever Walmart opened at 14100 Limonite Ave earlier this year. The 170,000-sq-ft “Store of the Future” features a gas station with 16 pumps, a full-service deli, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, vision center, and an expanded fresh produce section — and it brought over 300 new jobs to the community.[marca]
Big Plans for Downtown Eastvale
The city is moving forward with a transformative civic center project that includes a new city hall, police station, library, innovation center, civic park, and a central plaza. At the same time, the Leal Property is set to become a downtown lifestyle center featuring restaurants, shops, office space, and a hotel in a walkable environment. Both projects are expected to be completed between 2027 and 2028 — Eastvale’s downtown is getting a real glow-up![facebook]
Drive Alert: I-15 Express Lanes Update
If you commute on the I-15, good news — the completed 15-mile Express Lanes between Route 60 (Eastvale/Jurupa Valley) and Cajalco Road in Corona are now open. A future southern extension from Corona to Lake Elsinore is also in the planning stages, though construction isn’t expected to begin until 2027. Less gridlock is on the horizon, Eastvale![patch +1]
