⭐ 2026 CALIFORNIA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOLS · CONFIRMED
Three Eastvale Schools Officially Honored by the State 🎉

CNUSD has officially confirmed the 2026 California Distinguished Schools designation for three Eastvale schools:

🏫 Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate School
🏫 Eleanor Roosevelt High School
🏫 John F. Kennedy Middle College High School
⚖️ ERHS BACKGROUND · ONGOING CASES
The Honor and the Healing — A Community Still Processing

While ERHS celebrates its Distinguished School designation, the community is still navigating the fallout from multiple criminal cases involving former staff:

Amanda Leigh Quinonez — former ERHS language arts teacher and water polo coach, arrested April 2022 and ordered to stand trial on felony counts of lewd acts with a minor, oral copulation of a child, and distributing explicit material to a minor. Case remains ongoing.

Chad Costello — former ERHS theater teacher, arrested November 2023 on charges of child annoyance and sexual battery following a special victims investigation that began in April 2023. Case ongoing.

Dr. Greg Anderson — former ERHS principal, arrested February 2024 on suspicion of violating mandatory reporter laws in connection with the Costello investigation. The CNUSD placed Anderson on administrative leave. Case ongoing.
