Your Morning Local Roundup
FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2026
Good morning, Eastvale —
Here's your quick morning roundup of what's happening around town right now.
This Weekend's Standout
Free CERT Training Starts Today
If you've been meaning to get more prepared, Eastvale's next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training starts today, April 10, and runs through Sunday, April 12. The free 20-hour program covers disaster preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue, and basic emergency response — and it's a solid opportunity for residents who want practical skills and a deeper role in community readiness.
Civic Life in Motion
City Hall 101 Is Underway

Community Spotlight
Earth Day Clean Up — April 25
The annual Kiwanis Earth Day Clean Up is set for April 25 at 9:00 AM at Harada Heritage Park. Volunteers fan out across more than 20 miles of Eastvale roadways — bags, gloves, and lunch are provided. Easy for families, groups, and local organizations to join.
Growth Watch
Civic Center Update: Topped Out
Eastvale's Downtown and Civic Center project hit a milestone this week — Clark Construction Group and city officials celebrated the topping out of the new 137,000-square-foot, multi-building Civic Center. The project broke ground in August 2025 and includes a new City Hall, Police Station, Library and Innovation Center, and Civic Plaza and Park. Phase 1 is expected to open by early 2028, with the broader downtown commercial and residential development still taking shape.
Business Corner
City's Business Concierge Program
For local entrepreneurs, Eastvale's Business First Program offers a personalized concierge-style service to help new and existing businesses with site selection, permitting, development coordination, incentives, and promotional support for grand openings and milestones. Worth bookmarking if you're growing something in Eastvale.
Local Infrastructure
Limonite Gap Closure
A major transportation improvement still shaping local traffic is the Limonite Gap Closure Project, which created a direct connection between Eastvale, Chino, and nearby communities. The project added a new bridge, additional roadway lanes, bike and pedestrian features, and traffic-flow improvements along a key corridor.
One More Thing
A couple of recent city wins still worth noting: Eastvale was named a 2025 Inland Empire California Top Workplace, and the Walmart Supercenter opened in Eastvale earlier this year.
That's your Eastvale Vibe morning update.
