🥇 Gold in Milano Cortina!
The biggest news in town comes all the way from Italy. Eastvale's own Cayla Barnes and the USA Women's Hockey team claimed Gold at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics — defeating Canada 2–1 in overtime on February 19.
A three-time Olympian, Barnes has now won gold in 2018 and 2026, and silver in 2022. She was a standout throughout the tournament, including scoring the opening goal in the semifinal shutout of Sweden. We couldn't be prouder to call her one of our own.

🏮 5th Annual Lantern Festival — A Spectacular Weekend
We just wrapped up a beautiful two-day celebration at Roosevelt High School for the 5th Annual Eastvale Lantern Festival (Feb 21–22). This year's event honored the Year of the Fire Horse with record-breaking attendance, incredible food vendors, lion dances, martial arts performances, and vibrant lantern displays. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to make it unforgettable.
